BMT Marine & Offshore Surveys Ltd appoints Paul Jackson as Operations Director

BMT Marine & Offshore Surveys Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, has announced the appointment of Paul Jackson as its new Operations Director.
Paul joins BMT Marine & Offshore Surveys from the UK Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) where he previously acted as Director of Standards. In addition to being a member of the MCA Executive Board, Paul was responsible for the development and promotion of policies, standards and regulations to improve marine safety and pollution prevention.
Commenting on his appointment Paul said "BMT Marine & Offshore Surveys is home to the best brains in marine surveying and consultancy. I'm very excited to be part of the team as we look to continuously improve our service to our customers and perform successfully."

With a Master of Engineering Degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, Paul has over 30 years experience in the maritime sector. He worked as a marine surveyor at the Marine Safety Agency prior to joining the MCA in 1999, where he was Regional Director prior to his appointment as Director of Standards in 2004.
